Meet Cali
My name is Cali and I have a love for horses. For as long as I can remember I have!
One of my first memories of horses was going to the state fair with my mom and standing in the horse barns just staring in awe for hours.
Every chance I could see or ride horses, I did!
When I turned 16 I was given a free wild mustang! I knew absolutely nothing about training horses. I just thought it would be a scene out of Flicka and all I had to do was have my long hair blow in the wind and this horse and I would be a team!
This was extremely far from the truth and a great learning experience! After many trial and errors, being thrown, dragged, so many rope burns,cuts and bruises I almost gave up. I started to ask for help and learn from a few other experienced trainers. This began my journey into horse training. I quickly fell in love with it and learning how to start colts, learning an incredible amount about my self in the process. Working with horses is a beautiful way to learn communication, respect, intuition, determination, confidence and courage.
After years of continuous learning, working on many different ranches and riding thousands of hours, I still have a love and passion for horses and high value for keeping both the rider and horse safe. It is my goal to create a harmony between horse and rider.
I so enjoy giving others an outlet to experience horse riding and training! This has been a huge part of my life and it is a joy to share it with others. Hope we can ride together soon!
